It seems like just about everyone else I know has a blog.
Untill today I've been blog-less.
But then I didn't get a microwave untill my daughter was born.
(long after most people had them)
And I didn't jump on the VCR bandwagon for a long time either.
Hell, I still have a record player and vinyl records.
I understand that is considered passe these days.
I thought some of those things I mentioned might just be passing fancies.
Like electricity, or indoor plumbing, or that 'talking device' the telephone.
Yep, we have the capability to communicate instantly with other people located anywhere on the planet.
But do we have anything to say ?

Sometimes what we say isn't worth uttering...and I believe we realize that more when we have to take the time to communicate by written word rather than by immediately spewing whatever comes to our minds.
You know, you talk about Macfadden's razor and there's an old song about Mac the knife that springs to mind.
The infamous MacHeath from Kurt Weill's "Three Penny Opera". Yes, I remember the song well (as sung by Bobby Darin). It was popular when I was in Junior High School.
Unlike MacHeath, my sharpest instrument is my tongue.
Oh...Mac...
*slaps hands*
